Carriage

A carriage is a reciprocating plate mounted across the machine frame onto which the centre pusher and tuckers are fitted.

It moves back and forth in a controlled motion to position and transfer the pack through the folding and sealing sequence, synchronising pack movement with film feed and sealing operations.

Accurate carriage movement is essential for consistent pack formation and reliable overwrapping performance.
