Dead Plate

A dead plate is a fixed plate positioned between the conveyor and the elevating table.

It allows size conversion of the elevating table without the need to reposition the conveyor. By providing a stable transfer surface between the two sections, the dead plate maintains product flow during changeover. 

This simplified machine adjustment when converting between different pack sizes.
