Marden Edwards designs and builds a range of automated banding systems for securing, grouping, and presenting products. Our systems work with both BOPP polypropylene film and heat sealable paper, providing a packaging method that reduces material use while keeping products protected and retail-ready.

Automated Banding Systems for Heat Sealable Paper & BOPP Film 

Our banding machines are available with band widths from 29 mm to 150 mm, making them suitable for a wide variety of carton sizes and grouped products. Depending on your production requirements, banders can be configured with one or more banding heads. A single head can operate automatically at speeds of up to 20 bands per minute.

In addition to our three main machine models, we also offer customised banding solutions to meet individual production needs.

Types of Banding Machines We Manufacture

ABS Series 1

Designed for bundling cartons using dual banding heads. Compatible with both heat sealable paper and BOPP film.

ABS Series 2

A popular choice for the print and paper sector. Featuring a feeder and two banding heads for cross banding in paper or BOPP.

ABS Series 3

Features a pick-and-place vacuum head to group various formats – including cartons, bags, etc., – into single or multi-layer bundles.
