Marden Edwards Demonstrates Two Overwrappers at PACK EXPO Chicago

Chicago is the wonderful city for Pack Expo 2008 this biannual exhibition November 9^th to 13^th where Marden Edwards Limited will demonstrate two overwrappers recently sold to US customers.

As usual McCormick Place is the site and the stand S 3026 is in the South Hall a new venue for Marden Edwards alongside The UK industry group the PPMA on Stand S 3031, we will continue to be showing machines running on actual product to emphasise the ease of use and high quality of presentation achieved on all our models.

A series 4 B100 front feed overwrapper will be overwrapping coconut patties cartons a delicious confection by Anastasia of Orlando, Florida. This machine demonstrates the high level of usability achieved through 45 years continuous development. The machine includes many of the latest achievements such as High level guarding for ease of access an HMI giving access to control settings and manufacture to the highest standards through constant investment in design.

There will also be the new EVO model, a recent success in markets worldwide, overwrapping a product for Nutra. This machine was developed for and is particularly suited to carton overwrapping where low set up costs are essential but the high production throughput and the superb presentation of overwrap gain markets where shrink was previously the only solution.

In cooperation with Allen Bradley we will also be showing a new HMI for our successful TM range of overwrappers. The TM range uses servo control of film and pack motion to precisely control wrap position and quality for the Cosmetic Industry where a presentation wrap is essential
