TML U-Band Overwrapper

U-Band Overwrappers

U-Band Overwrappers are a reduced packaging solution, using a recyclable paper band and peelable hot melt adhesive to secure grouped products without the need for full overwrap.

The system offers a practical alternative to full film wrapping, maintaining pack integrity while limiting material use.

All our overwappers have the capability to run Eco-friendly wrapping materials

Reduced Material Overwrapping Using Paper Banding

U-Band uses a recyclable paper band, applied around the pack and secured during the wrapping process using a peelable hot melt adhesive. The system utilises Dura Pro EM 7095, developed specifically for paper-to-carton bonding, providing a consistent hold through production and transit while allowing clean removal without tearing the band or leaving residue on the pack.

For single-layer products, the band can be applied in a reduced three-sided configuration, limiting material use further while maintaining pack stability. They can be configured for single pack infeed with automatic multi-pack collation, or for multi-pack delivery with manual loading, depending on the production setup.
