ABS Series 2 Bander - Banding Booklets

The Marden Edwards ABS Series 2 is shown here automatically collating and stacking A5 booklets, using a Longford sheet feeder to feed the individual products into the system.

Once collated, each stack passes through two separate banding units, applying a cross band to hold the booklets securely in position. The system can run both heat-sealable paper and BOPP film at speeds of up to 10 stacks per minute.

This automated process provides a practical way to collate and secure printed materials whilst keeping packaging to a minimum, making it well suited to print, publishing and fulfilment applications.
