Marden Edwards at Interpack 2026 - Introducing the U-Band

Marden Edwards will be exhibiting at Interpack 2026, taking place in Düsseldorf from 7-13 May, 2026. At this year's exhibition, we will be introducing U-Band, a reduced packaging solution developed for grouped products.

A New Approach to Reduced Packaging

Marden Edwards has developed U-Band to reduce packaging material while maintaining pack stability. Instead of full overwrap, products are secured using a recyclable paper band with a peelable adhesive. 

At Interpack we'll be demonstrating the U-Band system live on the stand. The system uses paper supplied by Ahlstrom and a peelable hot melt adhesive form Dura Pro to secure packs during handling and transit.

Practical Integration for Product Grouping Applications

U-Band has been designed for straightforward integration into existing production lines, supporting efficient product grouping and pack containment where full overwrapping is not required.
